ROAD STATUS REPORT - FEATHERSTONE - 06/1/08:

Your safety is importance to us but is ultimately your own responsibility.   Phase III is a construction zone.  Please treat it as such.  This Road Status Report will help you safely navigate all roads.  Do not attempt to drive on wet, non-graveled roads in ANY vehicle. 

PHASE 3 ROADS:

FEATHERSTONE DRIVE:   Paved 2-lane to Buttercup Ridge Road - then well graveled up to turn around on #50.  See “Main Roads” below.
CLOUD DANCER ROAD:
   Well graveled - no probleme any vehicles - #36 is all that remains for sale on this road.

WIND RUNNER ROAD:    ROAD CLOSED - Rough – This road and section is CLOSED – NO parcels will be sold in this area.
SWEETGRASS ROAD:    Rough - under construction.  Park & walk only.  No vehicles please.  Services Parcels 40 – 41 & 42 only.
WHITE FEATHER LANE:   No Gravel - 4-wheel trucks & SUV only when dry.  Single lane servicing Parcels 51 & 52.  Turn around areas at top.

MAIN ROADS:

GIBSON ROAD:     Paved 2-lane.  No problem with any vehicle.   Beautiful 1-mile loop to walk or drive! Services all of Phase I. FEATHERSTONE DRIVE:   Paved 2-lane to Buttercup Ridge Road.  After that it is 2-lane & well graveled up to turn around on Parcel #50. A very easy drive for any vehicle with multiple turn around areas including a turn around at the gravel’s end. 
Note: There are multiple areas throughout where you can turn your vehicle around.  Main point: To be safe – drive only on graveled or paved roads!  Featherstone Drive is the longest road in Featherstone servicing all of Phases II and III.
 

PHASE 2 & 3 ROADS:

FEATHERSTONE DRIVE:   Paved 2-lane to Buttercup Ridge Road - then well graveled up to turn around on #50. See “Main Roads” above.
WILLA ROAD:    Paved.  At Parcels 23 & 24 it becomes well graveled – easy turn around areas everywhere – no problem any vehicles.
BUTTERCUP RIDGE RD: Paved.  Ends at graveled, private drive sign.   Plenty of turn-around areas.   

 


BUILDING ON A SLOPE

Each parcel includes a driveway with a “turn-around” area at the house site.  This is NOT a complete building site!   It is only an area to get your vehicle turned around and give you an idea how the lot will lay and the view.   We do the minimum required to achieve this goal and leave it up to you to finish the site to your satisfaction.  However, the turnaround area can serve as a major part of the overall design and positioning of the house as you can see below.   


NOTE:  We do not build houses.  However, we can assist you in your efforts to obtain a good building contractor or the various sub-contractors necessary to build your dream home.  We have the experience and know who’s good and who’s not.  We don’t charge for this service nor do we receive any kickbacks for recommendations we make.  This is purely a free service that we offer to those who decide to purchase in Featherstone.
