We have relied on his swiftness as we rode him into battle. We have relied on his strength as a beast of burden. We have relied on his dependability as our mode of transportation. Yes, where would we be without the reliable horse? In this sculpture I have tried to capture the spirit of the horse as he glides into the wind. His mane flowing in the gentle breeze nostrils flaring and his adrenaline pumping. This is the heart, the true spirit of the animal we are so close to.
